We are now very close to the short statutory consultation period for the East Park solar scheme. The developer, Brockwell, has booked out village halls across our community for consultation sessions starting on 1 October.
The following dates are ‘to be confirmed’ but please pencil them into your calendars:
- 1 October Keysoe & Bolnhurst 12-8pm
- 2 October Little Staughton
- 11 October Hail Weston
- 12 October Great Staughton
- 22 October Pertenhall (non statutory)
Each session should be open to all.
The developer should be confirming dates, times and venues and notifying people who live in the villages that will be impacted by its plans soon.
Please do try to attend a session: this is your chance to voice your views on this enormous 1,900 acre solar scheme.
After this statutory consultation, which the developer is obliged to carry out as part of the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project process, the next step will be to submit the application to the Planning Inspectorate (currently due in the first quarter of 2025).
